1970s Ruth Rodman’s aquatint textured art work, signed

Contemporary Boston sculptor and printmaker, Ruth Rodman (1945) has exhibited her art throughout the United States and Europe. Her original prints have been the subject of numerous special expositions including the Associated American Artists, New York, and the New York State College Museum. She has regularly exhibited with the Boston Printmakers.

My paintings are mostly about my sculpture. They all have mica in the work, with layers of collage of handmade papers with collagraph prints I have painted on. I enjoy giving new life to my older work, and I especially like that they reflect the family feeling.”
